Autotecnic can service your Audi, Mercedes, VW, Skoda, Seat & BMW without it affecting your manufacturer’s warranty.
The ‘Block Exemption Regulations’ came into force in October 2003 under European Union legislation affecting the motor trade.
This changed the way cars can be serviced and repaired and gave vehicle owners a lot more freedom in their decision as to who can repair & service their vehicles.
Before this came into force, it was difficult to have cars, which were still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, serviced anywhere except a main dealer.
You are now within your rights to have your car serviced by any qualified independent repair facility, without invalidating the manufacturer’s warranty, subject to:
- The service is carried out by the manufacturer’s servicing schedules and is recorded.
- Any parts used are of ‘appropriate quality’ and are recorded.
Autotecnic meets all manufacturers’ requirements to keep your warranty current and we only use original equipment manufacture parts.
